Frank's 1st Birthday and Easter!

Hello Everyone!! We had a busy few weeks - and someone turned 1 on the 8th!! We almost have a walker (he needs a bit more confidence but is taking steps), and we finally have some teeth. His first 2 came in this week and there's more we can see on the way. I think they're all coming in at once.

My dad came out to visit for Frank's birthday and we did some walks around town, went to the Anchorage Museum and Aviation Museum, and had a nice week together. For Frank's first birthday, we took him with our friends to the last Alaska Aces hockey game. They did a nice birthday shout out for Frank on the jumbo screens! We attempted a cake smash for Frank before the game, however little man was a bit skeptical about icing and didn't eat all that much of it.

This past weekend, we went to an Easter Egg Drop with some friends at Eagle River High School. They had a smaller area for a toddler egg hunt, but the main one is where a helicopter comes right over one of the high school fields and drops thousands of eggs for the kids to run to. Frank didn't like the sound of the helicopter this year, but I think next year he'll enjoy running onto the field to participate. :) On Sunday, we had a pancake breakfast and went to another Easter Egg Hunt at a greenhouse. It was a perfect first Easter for our family.

Here are some photos from the past few weeks! We love and miss you all!
